Day 1st Arrival

Day 2nd Tbilisi –Mtskheta
Tbilisi and Miskheta tour consists of two ancient cities of Georgia, the present capital Tbilisi and the historic capital of Georgia Mtskheta. Both cities are rich in landmarks and historical sites.
ITINERARY:
We will start by visiting former capital city of Georgia Mtskheta, which is one of the oldest cultural, historical and religious centers of Georgia. The Jvari Monastery which we will see was built in the VI century, which is a significant monument for its architecture, you can enjoy wonderful view of Miskheta. We will also visit the cathedral Svetitskhoveli, the holy place where the robe of Christ is being kept according to the legend. Then we will take a walk in the beautiful streets of Mtskheta.
We will start with majestic Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, one of the largest orthodox cathedrals in the world and continue to Metekhi church and Vakhtang Gorgasali statue, who is legendary founder of Tbilisi. Afterwards, via cable car we will rise up to the Narikala Fortress, from where, a wonderful view of the capital Tbilisi unfolds. Then we will visit the most typical site of old Tbilisi Abanotubani which is famous for its sulfur baths. We will visit through Shardeni street, which is full of various cozy cafes and bars, distinguished by an interesting combination of European and Asian architecture. At the end of tour, we will visi Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati Basilica.
Day 3rd Kakheti Tour
An unforgettable day tour in Kakheti region – to explore the best-known places of Georgian traditional winemaking center, known also for its magnificent nature of fertile valleys and numerous architectural monuments of the Middle Ages.
- Breakfast at the hotel;
- First stop will be Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino (4th century) which holds the tomb of St. Nino, the Cappadocian maiden who converted the Georgian people to Christianity as early as 337AD;
- After that city of love is waiting for you – The fortified town of Sighnaghi lies high up on the ridge overlooking the Alazani valley. The defensive walls and 28 towers were built by King Erekle II in the 18th century against the Lezgian invasion. Little has changed here for the last 200 years. The town preserved its original image and now offers visitors stunning views of the surrounding Caucasus Mountains;
